How it began:
The owner, Daniel Seifried, began professional video production training in 2010 at two highly recognized schools in the in
dustry; Columbia Academy, and Pacific Audio Visual Institute. While most students were encouraged to choose a major field of video arts to study, Daniel decided to incorporate every field into his studies. “In becoming a professional videographer, I feel that it’s necessary to understand every aspect from start to finish in creating any type of video.” In October 2011, Daniel received a Film and Digital Arts degree from both schools, and was ready to begin his career in the video industry.
The Next chapter:
In 2012, Daniel was hired by Cap-it Genuine Truckware’s marketing department at the company’s head office in Aldergrove, BC. At Cap-it, Daniel was responsible for creating, and building a large portion of the company’s e-presence. During his time at Cap-it, Daniel created over 140 videos for Cap-it’s website that consisted of products and promotions. You can view those web videos by clicking here. Additionally, Daniel also owned the responsibility of building the company’s e-presence through Social Media campaigns, creating web pages, and also increasing their website’s Google rank with SEO tactics.
DS90 Media becomes official
In 2014, Daniel’s dream of starting a multimedia business officially began it’s construction. The first process of starting the business was choosing a good name to represent the company. “I wanted a name that wasn’t so generic, and one that didn’t share a similar name with any other business of 
it’s kind.” After weeks of thought, the name DS90 Media was generated by putting the concept of Daniel’s initials, and the year he was born together. With a name in place, the website began construction, as well as the company’s logo. The next step in starting DS90 Media was business training. In September 2014, Daniel began a Self Employment Program at Douglas College. During his time at Douglas College, Daniel created a business plan, learned all the major aspects of business start ups, and connected with many other aspiring entrepreneurs. As of December 2014, DS90 Media became an official registered business in Canada, and acquired a business license to operate as well.
DS90 Media is NOW!
